Humanitarian assistance on the migratory route is offered as part of the Migration Program. At the same time, awareness of risk factors is promoted; locally initiatives in the strengthening of communities are also developed.

Education is such a fundamental component to prevent risk factors in the intervention of the migratory phenomenon. It is a tool that contributes to diminish vulnerability, social discrimination and violence against people on the migratory route, using a preventive approach to risk dynamics.
It consists in providing aid to refugees in transit and returning migrant population with pre-hospital care services, guidance on risk factors on the migratory route, phone calls to contact relatives, transport services to their homes and accommodations.
Nowadays, RFL takes place in an ever-changing environment, so the Movement must accept and adapt to such changes. “Restoring Family Links” is an expression that comprises a wide range of actions, each of them intended to alleviate the suffering of separation from loved ones.
